Touting Unmatched Ground Game, Jane Timken Surpasses 100,000 Voter Contacts

Timken is the Only U.S. Senate Candidate Focused on Direct Voter Contact

June 1, 2021
CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate, announced Tuesday that her campaign surpassed 100,000 voter contacts. In April, Timken became the first 2022 campaign in the state and country to launch direct voter contact efforts and continues to be the only U.S. Senate candidate in the race with a substantial ground game effort. This early, coordinated effort of building an America First grassroots operation points to Timken’s strategic advantages and unmatched work ethic.

“Campaigns are won on the ground, talking to voters. Just as I led the largest ground game in Ohio history to re-elect President Trump and Ohio Republicans up and down the ballot, my campaign is building a grassroots operation bigger, better and sooner than anyone in the state,” said Timken. “Our unparalleled ground game will continue to give us a leg up as we talk to Ohioans in all corners of the state about my America First agenda.”

As ORP Chairman, Timken’s tenure was marked by an early investment in ground game and a focus on the fundamentals: knocking on doors and making phone calls. Timken oversaw the largest grassroots effort in Ohio history with over 13 million voter contacts made for President Trump and Republicans across the ballot that contributed to Ohio’s strong Republican showing on election night 2020. Her candidacy for U.S. Senate is no different.

In addition to being the only U.S. Senate candidate focused on building the ground game operation needed to win, Timken also is the only candidate with a network of grassroots Ohio Republicans behind her. Over 125 elected conservative leaders across Ohio have endorsed Jane Timken for Senate, dwarfing the coalition of any of her opponents.
