CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate, released the following statement ahead of Joe Biden’s staged CNN town hall in Cincinnati: 

“Joe Biden is coming to Ohio to sell his left-wing, socialist agenda, but Ohioans aren’t interested in buying. Today, Biden will talk about the economy, an economic recovery he’s squandered with trillions of dollars in spending, new taxes, high inflation and record gas prices. Biden will talk about COVID and vaccine progress, despite sowing doubt on the historic vaccine President Trump and Operation Warp Speed made possible. Biden will talk about infrastructure, a deal he has continuously mishandled, moved the goalposts, and acted in bad faith by prioritizing socialist agenda items over the needs of communities. And highlighting the true depth of his hypocrisy, Biden’s PR stunt will take place in a Catholic venue, despite being the most pro-abortion and anti-life President in history.”

“CNN and the invite-only crowd may buy Joe Biden the snake oil salesman, but Ohioans know the real truth: Biden and Democrat policies are a disaster for this country. In the U.S. Senate, I’ll stand up and fight for what Ohioans actually want – targeted infrastructure, a strong economy, and a voice for the Ohio families being left behind by disastrous Democrat policies.”
