“I’m standing up to be your next senator because under my leadership we’re going to hold criminals accountable for their crimes and hold up police officers as our heroes,” Timken told the audience.

“Kerik said he was endorsing Timken in the crowded Republican field…because of her support for Trump.”

“In the beginning nobody wanted to go near him (Trump) in Ohio, they wanted nothing to do with him,” Kerik said. “Some of them are running for United States Senate. Only one person stood out and said, ‘I’m endorsing him. I’m going to fight for him and make sure he wins,’ and that’s Jane Timken. I know all the players in the race, and there’s only one I would endorse.

Timken: “I know the people of Mahoning Valley. They are hard working, good family people. They want jobs, they want to make sure they feel safe and secure in their homes and communities. I am going to be standing up and fighting for them.”

Spectrum News
Timken said she was proud to back all police officers. Police officers are attacked for doing their jobs…they put themselves on the line every single day and I will stand up with them in support of them.”

Kerik: “We need people in Washington that will fight…fight this Administration, fight for America First, fight for this country – and that’s Jane Timken.”

Saturday’s events came on the heels of Friday’s “Women for Jane” launch with a group of over 150 women across the state. The enthusiasm and momentum highlighted by this weekend’s events continue to show Timken as the true grassroots, America First candidate that Ohio conservatives are rallying around.

Rivers: “What do you see in Jane Timken that is better than the other candidates?”

Kerik: “First and foremost, she has been an America First candidate for as long as I’ve known her and known about her. There are some other U.S. Senate candidates in Ohio, but they are all wannabes. They hate Donald Trump, they called him a lunatic, they called him a fraud, but now all of a sudden, it’s election time and everyone is jumping on the Donald Trump bandwagon. Whether you like the guy or you didn’t like the guy, his policies were good for this country. And Jane Timken was behind those policies. She wants to push those policies going forward. I think she has the courage to stand up to this Administration. And we need a fighter!”

Kerik: “There’s a lot of rhetoric out there but when you compare her to the other three, four candidates…there’s nobody I’d support in that position more than her.”

Cunningham: “Why are you endorsing Jane Timken over the other candidates?”

Kerik: “I want a fighter! I want somebody who I believe is going to stand up – and one that is truthful – stand up and go to Washington and fight for the country. Fight for America First and I know three or four of the other guys…these are not America First candidates. I want America First…I want someone to follow those policies and I believe Jane Timken is the person to do it.”

Kerik: “We have Marxist and extreme left-wingers in Congress today…people that despise the police, vilify them, victimize the thugs…that’s one of the reasons I’m supporting Jane Timken. We need fighters in the Senate and the House to go to Washington to stop this nonsense.

Kerik: “You need people to get in positions and do the job that has to be done. Which is why I am supporting Jane Timken because I think she can do that. She can push…people in the White House to do the job they’re supposed to be doing.”

Boxer: “Yea, Jane Timken has never shied away from her displeasure..with defunding the police, that movement.”

Holds Kickoff “Women for Jane” Event with Over 150 Women in Central Ohio
CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken today launched “Women for Jane” in Central Ohio with a group of over 150 women across the state. Today’s kickoff event was the first “Women for Jane” event of the campaign where Jane spoke directly to Ohio female voters about the major issues facing Ohio and this country. Similar events will continue to be held throughout the state as Jane continues to build out her network of support as the grassroots, consensus candidate for U.S. Senate that can unify the Party and win.

“The major issues of today – rising crime, soaring inflation, higher gas prices and government overreach in our schools – affect every Ohioan, but women tend to be on the front lines of fighting these battles,” said Timken. “I firmly believe that more women need a voice at the table and I am proud to stand up for Ohio moms, Ohio families and Ohio values in my race for U.S. Senate.”

Jane was joined today by Ohio State Reps. Laura Lanese, Sara Carruthers, Tracy Richardson, and a host of other local and school board officials.

Today’s event and launch of “Women for Jane” highlight the robust grassroots energy for Jane Timken’s campaign. Jane has already secured the endorsement of over 150 conservative elected leaders across the state, is the only campaign doing grassroots voter contact with over 400,000 doors knocked and calls made, and is the only campaign with an 88-county operation with Timken County Chairs and individual donor support in each Ohio county.

Unlike many of her opponents, Jane continues to be focused on what wins elections: showing up, speaking directly to Ohioans about the issues, and building a winning coalition of statewide support.

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Calls on Joe Biden to Resign or be Immediately Impeached

August 26, 2021

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken released the following statement today:

“This is a sad day for America and the direct result of Joe Biden’s weakness and reckless failure to secure the ground and get all of our American citizens, Afghan allies that helped our military, and brave troops out. Biden has completely abdicated his duties as President and Commander in Chief. He has allowed foreign adversaries to dictate conditions that have put American lives at risk. Biden must resign immediately. If he doesn’t, he should be impeached and removed from office without delay.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Jane Timken Signs U.S. Term Limits Pledge

August 19, 2021

Says Washington Needs Fresh Voices and Fewer Entrenched Incumbents

CANTON, OH – U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken signed the U.S. Term Limits Amendment Pledge today, formally pledging to serve a maximum of two terms once elected to the U.S. Senate. Timken also pledged to cosponsor and vote for a constitutional amendment requiring a maximum of three House terms and two Senate terms with no longer limit.

“President Trump was right when he said we need to ‘drain the swamp’ of faceless bureaucrats and career politicians that don’t have their finger on the pulse of everyday Americans,” said Timken. “I am proud to do my part to combat professional politicians who aren’t passionate about people, just passionate about their own power. As a first-time candidate, I’m not running for office because it’s been my goal for years – or even a decade – I’m running to save our country from the socialist transformation Democrats are pushing on this country.”

“Term limits have been shown to create legislative diversity with fresh voices and to promote more representation by female candidates in legislatures across the country, including in Ohio,” added Timken. “In Washington, I will proudly stand for new ideas, new blood, and new solutions.”You can view Jane Timken’s pledge on term limits HERE.Learn more about Jane Timken and her campaign for U.S. Senate HERE.

Jane Timken’s Statement on Biden’s Afghanistan Address

August 16, 2021

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio, released the following statement in response to Biden’s address on Afghanistan:

“Joe Biden’s too-little-too-late spin and total deflection of responsibility did nothing to assuage fears and answer questions Americans, our troops, the Afghan people and our allies rightfully have in the wake of Biden’s gross incompetence. Instead of blaming President Trump and the Afghan people, Biden should have taken responsibility for the botched execution of his withdrawal – for leaving American citizens behind, abandoning Afghan interpreters and allies, allowing American weaponry to land in Taliban hands, and surrendering the Bagram Air Base.  Biden did not lay out a clear plan of action as to where we go from here and did not put forward a comprehensive plan as to how we keep our homeland safe from terrorism. Once again, Biden is leading from behind, projecting weakness, and proving unable to complete his duties as Commander in Chief. Joe Biden should resign and Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary Antony Blinken and General Mark Milley should all be fired. The world is watching – and the Biden Administration is failing us.”

Jane Timken Statement on Afghanistan

August 16, 2021

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio, released the following statement in response to the situation in Afghanistan.

“The disastrous execution of the withdrawal of Afghanistan is yet another stain on the Biden Administration. After campaigning on his experience and foreign policy credentials, Joe Biden has proven to be a weak, feckless and inept ‘Commander in Chief’ that has allowed a haste and hostile takeover of Afghanistan and a void where terrorism will surely breed. Joe Biden is abdicating his duties as President and Commander in Chief by not explaining his decisions to the American people, the brave Afghans who sacrificed to help the cause of freedom, and our allies and enemies who are watching us closely, instead opting to hide in his metaphorical basement, just like he did on the campaign trail. My heart yearns for the brave men and women in uniform who have served and sacrificed so much over the past 20 years, and the women and girls in Afghanistan who will surely again see oppression, lost identity, and violence under the Taliban rule.

President Trump projected strength on the world stage and America and our allies were safer for it. Joe Biden continues to project weakness, and it is emboldening our enemies and leaving America and our world vulnerable. The Biden Administration is an embarrassment.”

Jane Timken Surpasses 400,000 Voter Contacts with Unparalleled Ground Game

August 16, 2021

Only Candidate with Robust Ground Game, Statewide Coalition

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate, announced Monday that her campaign surpassed a new voter contact milestone with 400,000 voter contacts cycle to date. In addition to this substantial ground game, Timken continues to be the only candidate with a statewide coalition in all 88 Ohio counties with announced “Timken County Chairs” statewide, over 150 endorsements from Ohio conservatives, and individual donor support in all 88 counties, highlighting her as the clear grassroots choice for Ohio.

“With every knock on the door and every phone call, my America First message is spreading far and wide as Ohioans get to know me as the strong, conservative disrupter that has delivered for Ohio,” said Timken. “We are hearing directly from voters every day how concerned they are with the disastrous Biden agenda of massive spending, soaring inflation, open borders, and weakness on the world stage, which is why I am working harder than ever to earn Ohioans’ vote and take back our country in 2022.”

Timken has long been focused on the importance of the grassroots and voter contacts, helping to lead the largest effort in state history to re-elect President Trump in 2020 as Party Chair. In the race for U.S. Senate, she continues to out-work and out-hustle the field, building a statewide coalition of conservative champions that will be a force to be reckoned with in a primary and a general election.

Timken Statement on Senate Infrastructure Bill

August 10, 2021

CANTON, OH – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio, released the following statement on today’s infrastructure vote:

“In the U.S. Senate, I would support targeted infrastructure spending that addresses the real needs of roads, bridges and broadband for Ohioans that does not raise taxes or add to the bloated federal deficit, but unfortunately this bill does not do that. Democrats continuously moved the goalposts on these negotiations, forced unrelated priorities into the package, and tied the fate of this bill to their socialist $3.5 trillion boondoggle — which is a total nonstarter. Democrats once again put their radical agenda over the needs of the American people, and as a U.S. Senator, I would have voted ‘no.’”
